Research approach

Follow change to the human level.

MBHR Consultancy studies how system and organisational change becomes a change in attention, behaviour and lived capacity—and when that change continues beyond the workplace boundary.

A responsible conclusion should be no stronger than the evidence beneath it, and no narrower than the human consequences the decision creates.

01

Begin with a bounded question

Define the decision, affected people, relevant setting, time horizon and finish point before the investigation expands.

Scope
02

Test gain and loss pathways

A change may release human potential, create new demands or do both. The research design should be capable of detecting each possibility.

Symmetry
03

Separate evidence from inference

Observation, self-report, association, causal evidence, interpretation and unresolved questions must remain visibly distinct.

Evidence
04

Follow the human consequence

Measure what changes in attention, motivation, morale, behaviour, responsibility, recovery and life beyond work—not output alone.

Human level
05

Use more than one vantage point

Combine repeated employee observation with team, operational or voluntary household evidence where the question and ethics justify it.

Design
06

Protect the people who make evidence possible

Consent, confidentiality, cultural and linguistic testing, proportionate data collection and non-retaliation are research conditions—not administrative details.

Diligence

Evidence status

No claim should look more settled than it is.

Observed Directly recorded within the defined setting.

Reported Described by a participant or source.

Associated Related in the evidence without causal proof.

Inferred A reasoned interpretation that remains open to alternatives.

Hypothesis A proposed relationship requiring a test.

Unknown Not established by the available evidence.
